one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service which includes maintaining equipment records; and using general equipment manuals, catalogs, and parts lists. GS-7:
one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes:
entering and updating data using equipment and maintenance automated systems; and managing a variety of recurring maintenance, repair, and replacement activities on equipment and machinery. GS-8:
one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes:
using automated equipment and maintenance systems to manage a variety of recurring maintenance, repair, and replacement activities on complex equipment and machinery; and maintaining various records for each job, including piece of equipment, man hour labor charges, appropriate codes, etc. GS-9:
one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-08 grade level in the Federal service which includes:
Utilizing multiple components of complex maintenance control systems (such as FEM/MAXIMO) and the ability to analyze and effect system procedures; Managing a variety of recurring maintenance, repair and replacement activities on complex equipment and machinery using the automated control systems; maintaining various records for each job, including piece of equipment, man hour labor charges, appropriate codes, etc; and creating and analyzing trouble reports for expeditions and repairs. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05, 06, 07, or 08).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
